In this article, Uzbek music in the system of world music culture Abstract. This article analyzes the role of Uzbek musical art on the world music culture stage, its developmental stages, and its significance on an international scale. The ancient roots of Uzbek national music, its artistic and aesthetic features are highlighted on the example of maqom art, folk music and modern performance traditions. Additionally, the participation of Uzbek music in international festivals, cultural exchanges, and global cultural integration processes, as well as its contribution to the world musical heritage, is scientifically substantiated. The article also examines topical issues regarding the preservation of national musical traditions and their international promotion.
