This article addresses the expression of creative vision through associative imagery in Uzbek short stories. The study analyzes the gradual development of associative imagery as a literary tradition in our national literature. Specifically, it examines the artistic interpretation of images such as the monkey, the bull, and the pomegranate in Abdulla Qahhor's stories, along with their symbolic and figurative content. Additionally, the use of these images in the stories of contemporary young writers, enriched with new, relevant meanings, is analyzed on a scientific basis.
