Ushbu maqola optik tolali tarmoqlarni integratsiya qilishdagi qiyinchiliklarga bag'ishlangan. Optik tolali texnologiyalarni joriy qilish va mavjud tarmoq infratuzilmasi bilan integratsiya qilishning texnik, iqtisodiy va xavfsizlik jihatlari ko'rib chiqiladi. Maqolada optik tola tarmoqlarini kengaytirish, signal uzatishning samaradorligini oshirish, signal yo'qotishlarini kamaytirish va signal kuchaytirgichlarini optimallashtirish usullari tahlil qilinadi.
