MUTUAL IMPACT OF HUMAN RİGHTS AND ECONOMİC FREEDOMS
Abstract
Human rights are one of the fundamental principles underlying modern legal systems and international relations. These rights not only ensure an individual’s political and social freedoms but also guarantee opportunities for participation in economic life. Economic freedoms, encompassing rights such as property ownership, free entrepreneurship, labor, and free choice, constitute an essential component of human rights. In this regard, there exists a mutual and inseparable connection between human rights and economic freedoms. The joint development of human rights and economic freedoms is one of the main pillars of modern democratic society. The relationship between human rights and economic freedoms is primarily understood in terms of economic freedoms as “negative” rights — that is, as the limitation of state intervention.
