DIGITAL INVESTMENTS AND THE RISE OF FINANCIAL TECHNOLOGY IN EMERGING ECONOMIES
Аннотация
This paper explores the transformative role of digital investments and financial technology (FinTech) in shaping emerging economies. By examining innovations such as mobile banking, peer-to-peer lending, robo-advisory services, and blockchain-based platforms, it highlights how FinTech fosters financial inclusion, capital market development, and foreign investment attraction. The analysis also considers the challenges of regulatory gaps, cybersecurity risks, the digital divide, and dependency on foreign platforms. Findings suggest that digital finance not only lowers barriers to entry but also strengthens transparency, efficiency, and investor confidence. However, to fully harness its potential, emerging economies must adopt supportive regulations, invest in digital infrastructure, and enhance cybersecurity and digital literacy. This study contributes to the literature on digital transformation by emphasizing FinTech’s role as a catalyst for sustainable growth and global economic integration.
