Abstract

This article analyzes the pedagogical and psychological mechanisms for improving reading literacy among primary school students and developing human qualities through the integration of reading and natural sciences. The aim of the study is to identify effective methods for enhancing educational efficiency and expanding students’ moral and ethical worldview based on interdisciplinary integration. The object of the research is integrated lessons in the primary education process and their impact on students’ personal development. The article scientifically substantiates that reading literacy is not only a means of understanding texts but also a tool for comprehending moral values and natural laws embedded within them. The results indicate that reading lessons conducted in integration with natural sciences contribute to a deeper formation of such qualities as love for nature, responsibility, and humanity in students.
