THE ROLE OF MATHEMATICS IN DEVELOPING LOGICAL THINKING IN PRIMARY SCHOOL STUDENTS

This article examines the role and significance of mathematics in developing logical thinking among primary school students. It provides a scientific and methodological justification for the opportunities to enhance students’ skills such as analysis, comparison, generalization, and drawing conclusions through mathematics lessons. The paper also analyzes the effectiveness of interactive methods, didactic games, and problem-based situations used in primary education in fostering students’ thinking abilities. The results of the study indicate that the use of modern teaching approaches in mathematics plays a crucial role in improving students’ level of logical thinking.
