THE IMPACT OF INTERACTIVE METHODS ON UNIVERSITY STUDENTS’ ENGLISH LANGUAG LEARNING

Аннотация

This study investigates the effectiveness of interactive methods in enhancing English language learning among university students. It highlights the shift from traditional teacher-centered approaches to learner-centered pedagogies that promote active engagement, communicative competence, and learner autonomy. The research examines the core principles of interactive learning—active participation, authentic tasks, technological integration, and progressive complexity—while emphasizing their impact on speaking, listening, and overall proficiency. Findings indicate that interactive techniques foster motivation, fluency, and confidence, yet challenges such as unequal technological access, varying student participation, and insufficient teacher training remain. The study concludes with evidence-based recommendations for optimizing the use of interactive strategies in higher education, underscoring the importance of innovation and adaptability in modern language instruction.
