Abstract

This study examines the relationship between digital trade readiness and e-commerce development in developing countries using evidence from recent UNCTAD eTrade Readiness Assessments. The findings indicate that ICT infrastructure, digital payment systems, and trade logistics play a crucial role in promoting e-commerce growth and digital market participation. The study provides policy recommendations for strengthening digital trade ecosystems in developing economies.
