THEORETICAL BASIS OF ENSURING POPULATION WELFARE AND THE SYSTEM OF FACTORS SHAPING IT

This article provides an in-depth analysis of the theoretical foundations of the concept of population well-being, its content and structural elements. The definitions of well-being given by scientists of our country are studied comparatively, and their advantages and disadvantages are evaluated based on a scientific approach. An improved author's definition of well-being is developed based on such criteria as provision with material and spiritual benefits, their consumption potential, justice, peace and stability. Also, the factors that form the real income of the population - income level, price changes, taxes, supply of goods and services, and the level of inflation - are systematically analyzed from the point of view of their impact on well-being. The article develops scientifically based proposals on expanding production, increasing real incomes, creating an environment of free competition, optimizing the tax burden and stabilizing inflation as directions for improving well-being.
