Mazkur maqolada 5-sinf o‘quvchilarining ingliz tilida o‘qish ko‘nikmalarini egallash jarayonida uchraydigan asosiy muammolar tahlil qilinadi. O‘qish jarayoniga salbiy ta’sir ko‘rsatuvchi lingvistik, psixologik hamda o‘quv-metodik omillar yoritilib, ushbu muammolarning o‘quvchilarning matnni tushunish darajasiga ta’siri izohlanadi. Tadqiqot natijalari boshlang‘ich bosqichda ingliz tilini o‘qitishda o‘qish ko‘nikmalarini rivojlantirishga qaratilgan metodik yondashuvlarni takomillashtirish zarurligini ko‘rsatadi.
