This article explores the processes of digitalization in public services and the development of e-government systems, with a special focus on the Republic of Uzbekistan as part of global digital transformation trends. The analysis emphasizes the theoretical and practical aspects of digital governance, institutional reforms, legal frameworks, and international experiences. The article also examines the role of information and communication technologies (ICTs) in improving efficiency, transparency, and accountability of public administration. Particular attention is given to challenges such as cybersecurity, digital inequality, and interoperability of state platforms. Finally, recommendations are proposed to enhance the effectiveness of e-government and ensure sustainable socio-economic development.
