Abstract

This article examines the seasonal dynamics of the OSAVI and SI indices derived from satellite imagery and GIS technologies to assess soil salinity using remote sensing data and spectral indices. In the study, OSAVI and SI indices were calculated for 2016, 2020, and 2025, and their potential for detecting and assessing soil salinity was analyzed. The results revealed an inverse relationship between the OSAVI and SI indices, with their values showing corresponding variations across the study area.
