Abstract

The article discusses the issues of improving the methodology of teaching poetry to primary school students in reading literacy lessons based on modern pedagogical approaches. The study analyzes the problems encountered in developing artistic and aesthetic thinking of schoolchildren, forming the skills of feeling and correctly perceiving lyrical works. Unlike traditional teaching methods, the effectiveness of using interactive methods, increasing the number of non-traditional lessons, visualization technologies, and creative analysis methods in working with poetic texts is substantiated through pedagogical experiments and tests.
