This article estimates the impact of industrial production on employment in 14 territorial units of the Republic of Uzbekistan for 2012–2023 using a regression model [1]. The research used pooled OLS, Fixed Effects (FE) and GMM methods. According to the main result, an increase in industrial production by 1 billion soums has the potential to increase employment by an average of 84.7 thousand people. The industrial employment multiplier (β₃=2.914) had a strong impact on total employment (p<0.001). Elasticity analysis by region confirmed the regional stratification of the relationship between industry and employment.
