RECENT CHANGES IN TEACHER-STUDENT RELATIONSHIPS

The teacher-student relationship is a fundamental aspect of the educational process and has evolved dramatically in response to societal, technological, and pedagogical changes. This paper examines recent trends in teacher-student relationships, focusing on the impact of digital technology, changes in pedagogical practices, and the influence of social and cultural shifts. Through qualitative research methods, including surveys and interviews conducted with educators and students, the paper identifies key changes in communication styles, expectations, and the nature of authority in classrooms. The findings highlight the potential for improved engagement and learning outcomes while also noting challenges that may arise in these evolving dynamics. The paper concludes with recommendations for fostering positive teacher-student relationships in contemporary educational settings.
